Music Scene In Maine
There is a very fast growing, strong music scene in the good state of Maine, in which i happen to live in. The music scene was dead back when my mom was a kid. Big bands would only appear once or twice every few years up here! Now, we have small night clubs like the Station in Portland where big bands dont have to pay a lot to play, and get profits for like 600 kids to crowd in and listen to them play. We have a gigantic arena which seats 9 to 12,000 peoples at concerts. We have bands like Fall Out Boy, Marilyn Manson, All American Rejects, Avenged Sevenfold and many more popular ones coming up here more and more due to high demand. If we keep this up, we could become one of the United States biggest music scenes. This would be a thing of epic proportion, as Maine only has one town where the bands come, and that is Portland. Which honestly isnt that big. Hopefully in the future we will continue to grow and build a bigger arena so bigger and better bands like Slayer and Children of Bodom will come here. |
